FAQ

Before you book

Do I need a referral?

No. You can book straight in at our Lithgow clinic online or by calling (02) 6352 5588.

How soon can I get an appointment?

Availability varies by day. Check live times in the booking calendar above, or call the Lithgow clinic and we’ll find a time that suits you.

Will I know the cost before treatment starts?

Yes. Your condition and treatment options are explained in plain English, and the recommended plan and costs are discussed before treatment goes ahead.

What should I bring?

The shoes you wear most often, plus any referrals or care plans from your GP. Your regular footwear shows how your feet are supported day to day.

What does a gait and biomechanical assessment involve?

It looks at how your feet and legs move when you stand and walk. Ahmad takes a thorough history, examines your feet and lower limbs, analyses your gait and reviews your footwear.

Will I need an X-ray or scan?

Many foot and lower limb problems can be assessed in the clinic. If imaging would help confirm what’s going on, Ahmad will refer you for it.

Are your instruments sterile?

Yes. Sterile, single use instruments are used for every patient during nail and skin care.

Ready to get back on your feet?
